  1. Personal Data Controller The Personal Data Controller is Janusz Kowalski MP’s Office, address: ul. Oleska 1/1a, 45-052 Opole. The Controller has applied technical and organisational measures to ensure the protection of the processed data, in accordance with the requirements set out in applicable laws on the protection of personal data. In particular, the following were taken into account: the Regulation of the Minister of Interior and Administration of 29 April 2004 on documenting the processing of personal data and technical and organisational conditions to be met by devices and IT systems used for the processing of personal data (Polish Journal of Laws No. 100, item 1024); the guidelines of the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection; the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
  2. Personal data, grounds and purpose of their processing, retention period. The Controller collects personal data submitted to the Controller via the contact form and the newsletter form available on the Controller’s website (user’s full name and e-mail address). Personal data are processed by the Controller in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter “GDPR”), for the following purposes: Correspondence regarding the submission of information posted on the website. Sending newsletters to the e-mail address provided by the User, which may contain informative content. Users’ personal data are processed only for the above-mentioned purposes of carrying out marketing activities using means of electronic communication (e-mail address), on the basis of the consent granted by the User (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). The Users’ personal data are processed from the moment of obtaining the above-mentioned consent until its withdrawal/request for deletion/discontinuation of processing lodged by the data subject, and after its withdrawal – only for the purpose of demonstrating compliance with the legal obligations imposed on the Controller and the related claims (up to a maximum of 6 years from the moment of withdrawing the consent). Users’ personal data may be transferred to entities authorised to receive such data under applicable laws, including competent judicial authorities. Personal data may be transferred outside the EEA and made available to international organisations. Data are transferred outside the European Union, however, only to entities which guarantee an appropriate level of protection of your rights, security of your data and the legality of such an operation.
  3. Rights of Personal Data Subjects. The User has the right to access their personal data, rectify and erase them, request restriction of their processing, data portability, withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Consent may be withdrawn by sending an e-mail to kontakt@januszkowalski.pl from the address to which the consent relates. Please send all correspondence relating to your personal data to the same address. The User may at any time, with immediate effect, resign from receiving the newsletter by informing the Service Provider thereof in the form of an e-mail message sent to kontakt@januszkowalski.pl or by clicking on the unsubscribe link included in the content of each newsletter. Complaints related to the newsletter delivery service provided by the Controller may be filed in writing at the Service Provider’s address or electronically via e-mail at: kontakt@januszkowalski.pl. It is recommended that the Service Recipient provide in the description of the complaint: circumstances concerning the subject of the complaint, in particular the type and date of occurrence of the inaccuracy and contact details. The Service Provider investigates complaints immediately, no later than within 14 days from the date of its lodging. If the complaint cannot be investigated within this period, the Service Provider notifies the claimant of the reasons for the delay as well as the expected necessary time for investigating the complaint. The User has the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Office in the event that the processing of personal data concerning the User violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016.
  4. Data collected automatically upon accessing the website www.januszkowalski.pl and profiling. The website uses cookies, i.e. text files saved on the User’s computer, which identify the User in a way necessary to enable certain operations. Cookies are used to collect statistics on how Users take advantage the website, which makes it possible to improve the website’s structure and content. In many cases, the software used to browse the website (Internet browser) allows the storage of cookies on the User’s end device by default. Website Users can change their cookies settings at any time. These settings can be changed in particular in such a way as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or inform about their storage each time on the User’s device. Detailed information on the possibility and methods of using cookies is available in the software (web browser) settings. Cookies stored on the User’s end device may also be used by companies cooperating with the website operator, such as: Facebook, Google, Gemius. More information about these cookies can be found on the websites of the respective third parties. Personal data will not be processed in an automated manner (including in the form of profiling) in such a way that, as a result of such an automated processing, any decisions could be made, other legal effects could be produced or in any other way that would significantly affect our customers.
  5. Amendment to the Privacy Policy. The Controller reserves the right to amend the privacy policy, provided that it is required by the applicable law or changes to technological conditions of operation of the www.januszkowalski.pl website. The current wording of the privacy policy is always available at www.januszkowalski.pl.
