Appreciation from the Ukrainian MP Sviatoslav Yurash
Sviatoslav Yurash published an entry in Polish and Ukrainian on his Facebook profile, in which he would like to thank for the support for Ukraine against the Russian’s aggression. „Poland, like us, has learned a bloody lesson from the Russian’s tyranny,” writes S. Yurash.
Sviatoslav Yurash , whose profile was presented in detail in the report from my last trip to Ukraine (Wizyta na Ukrainie), is a deputy of the Supreme Council of Ukraine. In his entry, he refers to my speech during the meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee on December 2, 2021, in which I spoke about the concept of the military support for Ukraine by Poland, Great Britain and Canada.
Fraternal nations 
The immortal truth that a friend in need, is a friends indeed has once again proved to be true. When the Polish senators call for the deployment of the Polish troops to defend our country because of what Russia is doing on the border, it really helps. Poland is a model of the modern times in the context of its existence as a leader of the true Europe, despite all political fashions. Value-driven, economically successful, historically rooted. The Poles have built a developed country without betraying their history.
The foreign policy of our Western brothers is also not disappointing, because since 2014 they have presented a consistent and unwavering position on the Russia’s actions, both in Ukraine and in the world. Poland, like us, has learned a bloody lesson from the Russian’s tyranny, so it does not resort to Kremlin’s flirting and bribes. Zero tolerance for the Russian’s aggression, uncompromising fight against the Nord Stream, maximum help for Ukraine in integrating with Western institutions.
Therefore, with one past, we dream of a common future in which our unbreakable bond gives the subjectivity of our bloody region and the opportunity to take a position in a global confrontation for a place under the sun of centuries of blood and sweat of our nations.

Справді братній народ
Невмируща істина про те, що друзі пізнаються в скруті. А в братах наших західних, ми і не сумнівались. Коли уже сенатори польські закликають направити свої війська в обороні нашої держави через те, що творить Росія на кордоні, це справді допомагає. Польща – взірець сьогодення в контексті свого існування в якості лідера справжньої Європи, не зважаючи на усі політичні моди. Ціннісно орієнтована, економічно успішна, історично вкорінена. Поляки побудували передову країну не зраджуючи собі.
Зовнішня політика наших західних братів також не розчаровує, адже з 2014 року вони демонструють послідовну та незламну позицію відносно дій Росії як в українському, так і світовому напрямках. Польща, як і ми, вивчила криваві уроки російської тиранії, відтак не йде на кремлівські загравання та підкупи. Нульова толерантність до російської агресії, безкомпромісна боротьба з Північним потоком, максимальна спомога Україні в інтеграції до західних інституцій.
Тому через єдине минуле і мріємо про спільне майбуття, в якому спільний нерозривний зв‘язок дарує нашому кривавому регіону суб‘єктність й змогу зайняти позицію у глобальному протистоянні за місце під сонцем, вибороне століттями крові й поту наших народів.
